Design Now! Magazine is a magazine that highlights the impact of influential graphic designers. Focussing on their life story, work, and innovative methods of design in which led them to leave an imprint in the design world forever.

The goal of the magazine is to inform viewers by exploring the lives, education, social impact, and influence of Armin Hofmann, Wolfgang Weingart, and April Greiman. Revealing the intersectionality of the designers and how each designer has some type of influence or impact on the other.

The spreads include original illustrations, emulations of the artists’ work, iconic designs, and the lives of the artists.
ORIGINAL CONCEPT
The original concept for this project revolved around the goal of making a booklet dedicated to the life and work of graphic designer April Grieman. This idea resulted in an 8-page spread booklet briefly covering Greiman’s life and the imprint she left in the world of design.
After the initial release of the booklet, the new goal became to create a minimum 16-page spread going more in-depth on the designer’s life. Upon this task came the idea to expand the magazine by not only going into more detail about Greiman’s life but also that of other graphic designers that impacted her journey. From that came the choice to break up the magazine into 3 parts, covering the life and work of April Greiman, Armin Hofmann, and Wolfgang Weingart.
